JayGLongBeach
Hello all, Drove 105 miles roundtrip to pick up this blond Sherry after seeing the listing on Craigslist. Thanks Gary and Lerxt for providing the online GAS after seeing pics of your blond Sheraton and Casino!!! hehehe I'm thinking off changing out the pickguard and knobs to black... Have a great day everyone!

Prospero
That's beautiful. A Sheraton's been at the top of my list for a while now, and the more I see pictures like those, the more I'm thinking Natural is the way to go. Congratulations! That blonde's hot! theevilblacknarc
Wow, didn't see that one. I check the LA and OC craigslist a lot but I seemed to have missed that one. Great score. That's real purrdy. Beautiful grain. It could be just me but I like that translucent pickguard, looks classy. The pickguard on mine is a solid tortoise shell color with the "e" printed on it, yours looks so much better.

PP_CS336
Hey, JGLongBeach...Nice blond (Natural) Sherry! I have a Natural, also. I got it almost two years ago now, but it was manufactured August of 2005, according to the Serial Number (I05083619). Mine was made in the Saien, Korea factory. Like yours, mine has some pretty unusual grain patterns. It's beautiful looking and plays great, too. IMO, I wouldn't change the pickguard. I think the turtleshell (although not real) looks nice with a blond (natural) guitar like that. I did, however, change the volume/tone knobs on mine. I hated the originals...couldn't see the numbers. I also added the markers under mine (like some of the Casinos have) so I could see where the heck I'm dialed in from 1 to 10. LOL!!! Enjoy yours. I know I love mine. When I'm not playing it, I enjoy looking at it because it's so beautiful.
bluesstringer
Hey JG, HNGD..... I have a 95 natural and love it, i wouldn't change a thing. Incredible necks on these things.
JayGLongBeach
Hey Everyone! You guys rock! Thanks for all the great comments; TheEvilBlackNarc - yeah, i caught the post an hour after it was posted on Friday pm. Paul - I like the tortoise shell look too, but I think Gary posted a natural hollowbody with black accessories and it looked pretty cool... JRicoC
That looks (typically) great. Between last night's rerun of Vampire Weekend on SNL and this I am suffering a slow death!
Trojon
Hey JG thats one nice Sherry, you must have gotten a good deal to drive that far with today's gas prices. Have you ever been to world of strings on 7th street? Nice little guitar shop, any more in long beach like that?

Biff
Congrats!! Sweeeeeet! That hot blonde would look awesome without her pickguard showing more grain, but I think you're not supposed to post x-rated pictures ... :-
shartom
I have the same model that I bought about two years ago. A great guitar. The finish is quite eligant. I have used it on everything from country, old R&R, blues and jazz. It looks great and sounds the same.

Schtang
Natural Sherris are very very nice and yours has some beautiful wood grain on the top and back. I own a lot of Gibsons and the Epi sherri is definitely on par with those Gibson at a third of the price. Sorry but just have to post a pic
