Here's a look at my 1995 Casino from the Peerless Factory in Korea

Great construction' date=' great finish, great tone.

I've seen a lot of guitar photos posted in this forum and for the most part there isn't anything I've seen that's all that extraordinary as far as my personal tastes go. Nice enough looking guitars, just nothing that in my opinion and tastes that are all that... I do have to say that your Casino is an exceptionally good looking guitar. It reminds me of a Peerless-made mid 90's Riviera that I went back and forth about buying about ten years ago and ended up letting go because it didn't have mini hambackers (I love that lol)...very nice looking guitar.

...and Al's your uncle.

Always enjoy seeing that pic' date=' Lerxt; one of my inspirations to get my Sherry in a natural![/color']

Thanks JG... The trick about natural finishes is finding one with some nice grain character... A lot of the natural Epis I've seen seem to lack that..

[edit]

Having said that... Nice figuring on that top, Gibiphone! I don't think I've ever seen a natty Casino like that.

Hey, Iconoclast (and Bob's your uncle. . .), Lerxst and bluelake07, thanks for the interest and nice words. =D> This Casino is maple with mahogany neck.

By the way, has anyone figured out how to stop the stock selector toggle from buzzing, short of replacing it with a better one?

Here's a coupla more pics:

I own two Casinos...a '65 Kalamazoo and an early 90's Terada pre-Lennon '"65 Model"...so now what? Are you forming a club and we'll get discount coupons for pizzas' date=' oil changes and on tickets in our very own section of seats at the Ice Capades?

Dear Iconoclast,

I think you opened up a new beginning. Forming a Casino Club is a fantastic idea. I think we have a lot of afficionados owning a casino or two or even more. Let's do it now. I am nominating you as president of the club.

Hi Jay,

I'm a die hard Beatle fan since I was in 1st year high school. I jammed with my friends doing only Beatles' songs. I was a member in five different Beatles Fans Club in the Philippines. I've got around different thousand Beatles' cds, dvds, laser disks, betamax and vhs. Aside from that I have also tens of thousands of Beatles' books, flyers, posters, tickets, magazines, pictures and many others.

Hello All

This is my first post although I have to admit to lurking for a while You have been a great source of Info. Many thanks

Thought I would add my Casino I have a 2007 MIK custom shop model, I purchased it off ebay from the USA it was marked Used, I have removed the Bigsby sorry but can't get away with these and it takes me too long to change strings especially when gigging. So I added a Nickel Trapieze changed the Tuners for Genuine Kluson Nickel Plated and had the Pick Ups changed to Kent Armstrong P90's. Fantastic guitar I am looking to add a Cherry Casino to my Collection. Full Epi collection is 2007 Casino In VS, AJ 45 63 Re issue, Epiphone Dot in Cherry and a Dot in Vs whch I have just sold to try and Finance the new Casino. Also have Gibson SG special with Vibrola Tailpiece added and A Rickenbacker 330 all Black inc Scratch plate and name plate.
