TheX
Ughhh, no gold. Sorry, I'm converting a Firebird to chrome right now...I HATE gold hardware on all but a few guitars.
TWANG
yeh. gold is like that.. that is some folks just hate it! I could take that lp in gold or chrome though..
epinder
Boy, I'm happy that I'm left handed. I saw the turquoise thread yesterday and thought wow I'd love to have one like that. I think that red & gold looks real nice. Saved myself $449.00 by being a lefty. B)
RotcanX
Meh... looks like someone couldn't decide between a Standard and a Custom. Just what we need, the Les Paul Custard.
Redddog
I'm in the "hate gold hardware" camp. It reminds me of a retirement home in Arizona. I don't know why.
garyelcrrt1281733995
REddDog -- totally off topic (and probably a stupid question, too) but I don't know who else to ask. Back in the late 60's, I used to get out off from the mill at 8:00 am, and would often jump on my bike (a Kawasaki, at the time) and ride from Greenville, PA to Rochester, NY to buy a really good hotdog at this place that, I think, was fairly well know for its hotdogs. Also to flirt with one of the waitresses there, but that's another story. Anyway, I can't remember the name of the restaurant and don't know if its still there. So...you know exactly what I'm talking about, yes?

garyelcrrt1281733995
Could you give me a little more to go on? A road or a town or something? I wish I could, but 40 years ago...and I haven't exactly been, uh, free of various degrees of self-abuse. All I can remember is main drag, lots of brick store fronts and that funky 45 degree parking. Thanks for trying.
Biff
Hmm, makes me think of Christmas. I mean the guitar and candy apples, not the hotdogs :) Well, maybe the self-abuse a little too but let's leave it at that. Would go nicely with a Santa costume (all of them, actually).
