RotcanX
I'd say an Epiphone Broadway would be close. Maybe a Joe Pass Emperor too. The Gibson L-5 is also similar.

bill67
Would it be better to change the pickups in the washburn j6
Funkwire
I would say yes. I have a J-3, which is pretty much a J-6 with chrome hardware, florentine cutaway, and plainer wood. The pickups are very generic sounding. Find a PAF clone to your liking and budget and toss them in there.
bill67
I was thinking maybe single coil or fiterons,or wouldn't that be good
Funkwire
The J-6 is routed for humbuckers, so single-coil pickups would be problematic. Filtertrons? Sure, why not. What style of music are you intending to use it for?
