Opinions of the Sae Jung plant guitars?

I just checked the serial on my guitar, and it's a July 07 Sae Jung plant guitar. It plays and looks great. Very solid with great action, but I never checked plant location before. Just curious where this one seems to rank among the various Epi mills out there. Thanks for the feedback!

G'day Mate,

I can't help you with info about that specific Sae-Jung plant I'm sorry but I just wanted to say that no matter where a (Epi) guitar originates it seems that quality and performance still vary considerably. I have an "SM" acoustic, a "DW" G400 and a "U" casino and they are all nicely made and play well. Despite all the support for the "EE" models I saw some dogs in a dealers recently. Despite comments about how bad some "DW" products are, I am happy with mine and I suppose my message is that it's the individual guitar that matters more than the manufacturer as they all have good and bad days

Have a good'n and stick around this is a good place.

I use to visit guitar stores by and then, and I always check out the Epis. To be honest I seldom find an EE guitar that I'd buy. Last time I played maybe 20 epis, and the superior one was a used L612xxxx Les Paul ebony made in Korea, I a l m o s t bought it.

The most trusted ones are the U=unsung !IMO!, I have a U GoldTop '56 that is a totally different guitar compared with the EE GoldTops. All details are different.

But as always, every guitar is unique, and I've not played them all...
