ok so i have been bugging you people about dots for a good month.

i want one bad.

i was even thinking about selling my favorite guitar a 98 sheraton.

but i have saved enough money for a dot so i was wondering if i should still get it even though i already have a semi hollow guitar is the diffrence enough to justify the purchase?

now i see that my local music store has a used 83 yamah 12 string guitar for sale so i dont know what to get with my cash. help!!!

Is the size okay with you? Are there times you wish you had something smaller (like an AlleyKat) or something much smaller (like an SG)? If you are perfectly okay with the size of the Dot/Sheraton, then it might make more sense to get a Casino as it is LESS like the Sheraton and the Dot is MORE like the Sheraton.

I don't think you'll regret the purchase of the Dot or the Casino. I have a Dot that I bid on for what I thought was a ridiculously low price, and won it (on ebay). I must have had a few too many when I bid, as it turned out to be a regular Dot, not an Elitist Dot. So, I ended up paying more than what I would have paid through MF. Duh.

Well, all I can add is that the 2004 Dot I purchased used for 200.00 was excellent all the way around. After getting it all setup properly the pups sound just as good as my Gibson pickups do. I do not regret the purchase one bit. I play through a little VOX AD30VT, that gives me all the tones I need.
