Replacement Pickups for my Sheraton II

DC

Recommended Posts

Are there any suggestions out there? I noticed that it seems to have a quick-lok that allows the pickup to be plugged and uplugged without soldering? Are there any replacement pickups that come configured this way?

I'm looking for a mid-output pickup that would be good for blues and rock.

GFS Vintage 59s. I have them in my sherry and I love them. The neck picup is very warm, not muddy at all. The bridge pickup is bright and has some great snap to it, but not harsh like bridge neck pickups can be. For me they are perfect, and the price doesn't break the bank.

No, I don't think there are.

Spend some time on this forum(or do a search) and pickups manufacturers like Gibson, GFS, Seymour Duncan or Kent Armstrong are likely to get mentioned.

I would suggest a PAF-type PU if it didn't leave you with about 2000 pickup-designs to choose from.
