I've had my eyes on that Rivera for sooo long. I haven't seen it in a single music store nearby where I live. Has anybody had any experience with this guitar? What neck profile is it? Is it a heavy guitar? How are the highs and lows of the guitar? Thanks a lot for your answers!

I own the Elitist version. Neck profile is like on my Riviera if you have ever played one of them. Just pulled it out and it does seem heavier than my satin 335 and standard line Riviera. Not as heavy as my Jorma but that has the bigsby.

It is hard to describe it but it is a cross between a Casino and a 335 tonewise. More midrange than a Casino but clearer and more articulate than a 335.

I think I read that the standard line one does have the real Gibson P94s not Korean or China copies. Until I see one to compare to mine I would guess it is a difference in fit and finish. I have been looking at Sam Ash and GC too to see when or if they get one in to compare but so far none.

The ones I have seen on Sweetwater look pretty nice. I like them becuase they show the actual guitars and let you choose when you order.
