Ron G Posted June 26, 2008 Share Posted June 26, 2008 I just experimented with my Dot Studio, totally stock except for pickups. Right now it has 11s with a wound G. Open chords sound fine unless I bear down REALLY HARD with a death grip. Being that I mostly play a small-fretted acoustic with 12s, I figured I'd be prime for a problem like yours but not so.
