brad1
I think I'm going to be getting a metronome here soon. When I was growing up I only remember them having the old wooden, swinging, pendulum-type. Now there are so many different brands and models that have numerous features. I've never used one in my life and the number of choices is leaving me a little uncertain of what might be the best unit. I'm not even sure of what I should be looking for in a metronome. Can I use it with my electric as well as acoustic? How loud do they get? I have a couple of tuners, so having a built in tuner is not a plus (but not necessarily bad). Anybody have recommendations? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks, brad
RotcanX
Wittner has a nice electronic metronome, not too expensive, that includes a blinking light option and an earphone for those times when the click will be drowned out by your playing... copper1281734000
I don't have one, but I really like the boss dr. beat metronomes. They can be set to different time signatures and they're really cool. I'm sure of the price though. If you're worried about volume, get one with a headphone jack so you can use headphones.
