Most quality pickups are four wire but on a normal set up would be wired up the same (hot and ground - the shielding goes to ground too). The two remaining wires can be used for coil taping. If you don't care about coil taping you must connect the two wires together and tape them up. On the GFS pups the two coil tap wires are already soldered together, you just need to cover the bare ends of the wires. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
