Dietrich
Just a guess... Is that the Acu-bass ("Accu" = accurate? Epi's take on the term "Precision'?) Possibly 80s or 90s?
dscottch
Guys, I just recently acquired this same bass. My serial number search turned up that it was made in May 1995, #1436 in Saein, Korea. I can't seem to find the model of it anywhere or what/where I can get parts for it. Thanks for any help.
RobinTheHood
That is an Epiphone Rock Bass. Probably late 80's - early 90's by the look of the headstock. The Accu Bass has P or P/J style pickups and the vol/tone plate runs along the contour of the body. Funny that they were called a Rock Bass when they actually had jazz pickups in them. I think most of the "rock" is in the pointy headstock. I dont really know anything about these basses other than what my Google-Fu tells me. dscottch
Thanks RTH, if you had to guess. What are the three knobs? Nevermind, I found it 2 volume and a tone. Thanks though.
