Epiphone Sighting

Recommended Posts

I saw the band Dr. Dog on Conan O'Brien last night and both guitarists, Scott McMicken and Frank McElroy were playing Sheraton's. Everytime I've seen these guys on TV they have Epiphone Sheraton's so looking around on the web I found this quote from an interview McMicken did with Walruscomix.com:

"All Epiphones man! It's the Epiphone Sheraton! I got my first when I was 18 and I haven't played another guitar since then. I've had three or four, just due to some of them breaking or getting stolen, and I just keep getting them. They're just inexpensive and I have yet to find anything better! I've played around with other people's top shelf stuff like the ES-335 or 335 or whatever...and I honestly just don't like it as much. It doesn't feel as comfortable and so I got Frank to get an Epiphone too. That guitar works so perfectly, it feels like a natural extension of my playing." - Scott McMicken, Dr. Dog.

The guy sure likes his Sheraton but it sounds like he doesn't suffer from GAS very much.
