RotcanX
I have a couple pictures of the body' date=' you think you guys can help me? [/quote'] Uhhhmmm... can't see the pix, dude. You need to post them on some site such as photobucket. However. If it has one pickup (either a P-90 or a humbucker) and a bolt-on neck, it's an SG Junior (also referred to as a G-310 Junior). If it has two pickups, one volume, one tone, a bolt-on neck and no pickguard, it's an SG Special. If it has two pickups, two volumes, two tones, a bolt-on neck and a pickguard, it's a G-310. If it has two pickups, two volumes, two tones, and a glued-on ('set') neck, it's a G-400. If it has two pickups, two volumes, two tones, a glued-on ('set') neck and a satin (flat) finish, it's a Vintage G-400 or a G-400 Faded. If it has two pickups, two volumes, two tones, and a glued-on ('set') neck with Jeebus inlays, it's a Tony Iommi G-400. If it has three pickups, three volumes, one tone, and a glued-on ('set') neck, it's a G-400 Custom.

johnpaulgeorge
Looks like a g-310 with bolt on neck
Revolver
Looks like a G-310 with something resembling EMG pups, but I don't see the EMG logo. IMO you may be happier with a G-400 if you can snag one instead.
accuracy
Yeah i thought they were EMG's but i coudl find any SG's that came with them stock. I'm guessing someone put them in later? So how much do you think this guitar is worth? Is 200 too much for a used guitar like this. Sorry i dont' know much about SG's, i've only had one guitar my whole life and it's been a Fender Telecaster.

RobinTheHood
Its a G-310 with covered humbuckers. Same as the standard open humbuckers, but with covers on them. Nothing special in that department. My guess is that it is a 90's model. I have the same exact guitar, but in red. Also, the pickups are muddy and not very hot.
RotcanX
It's a G-310, most likely made by Samick; apparently they made them with the black plastic-covered pickups for a while. $200 is a little too much for that guitar; they're not much more than that new. Heck you should be able to get a used G-400 with a set neck for $200. I would not have paid more than $100.

lpplayer
agree- it looks like a modded G310...although I don't see the EMG logo on the pickups. Who signed it, do you know?
johnpaulgeorge
The next model up, the G-400 is reckoned to be a better guitar, but it depends on how much he is asking for it, & how much you wanna pay.Look likeEMG's but no logo ??
RobinTheHood
Not modded. Not EMGs. Just standard Epi Cheapbuckers...with covers. This puzzled me at first when I got my '94 G-310. Thats what you get for "bling" in the $189 range.
