SlagJones
I have a little 15w ss practice amp and it seems to have died. I first noticed a weird static sound when I would play the low E string on the clean channel. It was almost imperceptible but gradually got worse but never real loud, just a very low zzzzzzz sound. Eventually, when I plugged my guitar in, there was nothing, no sound. I unplugged the guitar and turn the amp on and off and I could hear a small pop as you turn the amp on but when you plug the guitar in no pop, no sound at all. The guitar works fine on an another amp. I guess the amp is gone. Just bad luck? I did have a distortion pedal that I tried full distortion with the amp on full distortion too. Could I have blown something using it that way, an overload on the distortion?
TWANG
I think yes. That is, I've had a similar experience, doing the same thing with a pedal and an SS amp.. but I don't know anymore than that. TWANG
SlagJones
I guess easy come easy go. I'm thinking about the Roland 20x to replace it.
