RotcanX Posted July 31, 2008 Share Posted July 31, 2008 The first pic shows a damaged neck, due to some misfortune e.g. he dropped it or he smacked it. The remaining photos show normal finish cracking... as the wood settles the finish may pull apart. Since you are getting a replacement it's all good but be prepared to have the same thing eventually show up on the new one... it's not structural, it's just cosmetic and it does not foreshadow the kind of damage shown in the first image.
