RotcanX
Yeah' date=' I'm really sorry that Spud posted that pic. [/quote'] Bad news: it's really starting to look like the 335 is going the way of the '61 SG. For a while there the Canadian distributor only had them in natural.. now they don't list the 335 at all in the price list.

Lutheran1971
I don't really have anything to add to what's been said, just a couple of pics (I know how we all like pics here). First my Elitist 335. A wonderful guitar, bright and full sounding - able to do chiming cleans or dirty raunch on my Vox. Alas, being an LP man at heart, I may be forced to sell her as I did Tulsa's Wine Red Custom a few months ago. But I digress... Second pic is the limited blue Elitist studio I bought from Spud/Rot. Just dropped P-94's in her two nights ago and it's amazing. It has absolutely nothing to do with this thread of course, but I'm sure you'll all appreciate the pic! byrds1965
I sort of liquidated my assets over the past 3 years to snap up the ones that I really' date=' really wanted. The SG was the last link in the chain. Although it isn't an Elitist [i']per se[/i], it is made in the same factory, and that's good enough for me. I would rather have an Elite SG like you have than an Elitist! Nothing new to add. My Valesni is as nice as any Gibson I have owned and it is an Epiphone design so it's as good as it can get. RotcanX
Glad to see you've kept the blueburst, Luther. Great idea to put P-90s in it, gives it a unique sound compared to your other LPs.
dubstar
I have an elitist LP standard LH and I agree with what's been said so far...however, I'd like to point out that my MIK LH casino has an extremely thin and narrow one-piece neck, is very well made, and sounds good unplugged...not sure how many plies it is but appears much thinner than several MIC chunky neck casinos I've seen recently... didn't notes post that his gibson ES330 was 5 ply? different from the elitist casino and original casino, whatever it is... JRizZ
Man I love Lutheran's blue elitist studio! I'm not really into blue guitars - but that one is seriously nice!
Lutheran1971
Thanks! I love the stock Elitist pickups. They're very very nice. But I was looking for something a little more P-90'ish for one of my guitars. Dropped the P-94's in this one and oh man. Warm and full but not harsh. I had toyed with selling this guitar, but decided to let only one go instead of two. Regret selling any, but sometimes you have to do things that you don't wanna do. DJ2257
Could anyone who owns an Elitist Casino, Sheraton, LP etc, tell me if their tuno-matic bridge (and Casino tailpiece for that matter) has 'Made in Japan' or 'Japan' stamped on the bottom. I have had lots of Japanese guitars with tuno-matics, and they usually have something on the bottom, but my Elitist Casino's bridge and tailpiece have no stamps at all. Just curious as to whether the bridges, apart from being nickel as opposed to chrome, are any different to the regular epiphones. Just one other question for the experts here! As this is my first Casino, can anyone tell me why the string anchor part of the tailpiece slopes slightly. I took the two small nuts and the anchor off and the right had 'leg' is noticably longer than the left. I haven't tried any of the Korean/Chinese Casino's so can't add to the discussion, but I can say having owned many Fuji-gen guitars, my Elitist is right up there with the best of them. Awesome!! Thanks.
