Hey guys i know this is off topic and i dont work for or sell anything to do with this site just recommending it as ive downloaded lots of his lessons and they are great for someone wishing to learn particular song.

Very good for all levels.

The site is called V guitar lessons, here is a link incase anyone is interested.

http://vguitarlessons.com/index.php

Like i say it has helped me and may help other people wishing to learn other peoples songs. I know this isnt evryones idea of playing guitar but i have enjoyed every lesson i have brought which is about 10 now. Very good in detail so it is worth it if you decide to get one.

Anyway up to you just passing on the info.

Gonna go practice now on my valve junior!!! =D>/

Early on I watched some of his lessons, but it's been awhile.

Here is another one that people might be interested in viewing - it takes the basics and explains them in detail - a lot of theory. I'm a believer in learning theory and although I struggle with it, I still have at it.

Too many "let me show you how to play like Hendrix" lessons out there - all you learn to do is be a copy machine with no understanding why the notes and chords, when put together, actually work.

IMHO of course.

So although a blatant hijack, here is another lesson site.

I mean you cant really go wrong, special offer this week is enter sandman 27 min video on how to play the who thing including lead solo! Think it is $8!

Lots of short lessons free on You Tube...you just have to search through to find ones that help you.

Most are crap and not easy to understand plus you get tab downloads with the others. I dont mind paying few pounds for very good lesson. Have learnt bits off of youtube tho

When I got back into playing after about a 15 year break, I found this site :

http://www.justinguitar.com/

Really cool site( & it's free to use:d/ ) Justin taught Katie Melua to play &

featured in her band until recently. He also played in long running Stones

tribute band '' The Counterfeit Stones'' so he knows his stuff. Good for

begginers & more advanced players alike, check him out !

Ditto on Justin's site. Highly recommended on another forum I belong to as well. I've picked up a lot from him.
