Gibson machine heads

Hello all .I was down the music store again today looking at some Gibson machine heads (tulip type I think they are called) and thought to myself they would look nice on my es335 dot(epiphone).

question 1,Do you think they will make the guitar stay in tune better ?

question 2, Will they fit the Epiphone head stock o.k ?

question 3, Has anyone tried this / any problems after fitment !

question 4, At £40 ($78) do you think they are worth the asking price ?

Not sure about the others, but for tuning, a new nut would probably help more.

I tried putting gibson tuners on my epi ES-295 and my ES-295 headstock was too thick for them... If you buy them, be sure to get a return policy ahead of time...

My brother put some Imperial tuners from GFS on his Dot. They fit perfectly and they are the coolest looking tuners I've ever seen. A perfect compliment to the (huge) Epi headstock. Only about 30 bucks.

Yup. Nope.

They're a little steep (we sell the set for $43 Canadian, so 40£ is about the norm for Brit pricing). I've seen worse prices on other Gibson tuners.
