Say compared to a high end Les Paul such as a Epi Black Beauty or a Gibson's Les Pauls. A little confusing. So a Custom it is, I guess. Those are pretty danged nice guitars. As far as comparing it to the Epi Black Beauty, well, in a nutshell, the BB has one more pickup but it still has only three sounds, so if you ask me it's the same guitar from a slightly different approach. Everything other than the third pickup will be identical. Compared to a Gibson Les Paul Custom... ehhh, don't even go there. Completely different animal. FloyDZeD Posted August 7, 2008 Share Posted August 7, 2008 Yep, I got one about a month ago. Pretty damn good guitar, aside from the wiring (which I will replace). Vintage sunburst, I took the pickguard off and it looks better. What I can't decide is, when I get new pickups, if I'll get zebra, cream, black, or chrome humbuckers.
