custer
Ok everybody heres the deal. I am going to purchase a new guitar. I have narrowed down the choices to three, Epi Casino, Epi '56 Goldtop or Gibson SG Special Faded. I know they are all different animals however I like all three and can't decide. I have played all three and enjoyed each of them for what they are. Any suggestions?

pohatu771
Having played all three, I would lean towards the Casino... so strongly, in fact, that I'd probably fall on it. The SG is my least favourite. I've only played the Les Paul for a few minutes, but it seemed to be a very nice guitar.
RotcanX
Pff. None of 'em . Get a Dot.
jfalkens
All are nice... but check out my Avatar (dont want to mention a competing brand)... You may want to play one of them. Then re-evaluate your choices. It is the HH Special.
RotcanX
Fender Jaguar? Talk about the lunatic fringe. Keep that boy away from the shotgun.
charlie brown
What kind of music do you like most? That might help you decide...??? CB
iansmitchell
A dot, maybe even a lucielle may be a good idea. Or one of the "kat" series.
FrankS1281734010
Eh, to be totally honest the Gibson would be at the bottom of my list. I've played those faded sg deals and they just felt cheap. +3 on the dot though.
ant7629
Well they are three very different guitars, so as CB says, its really down to what style of music you are playing. If it was me, I was go for the Casino. They sound just as good unplugged as they do when plugged in!
