mrjones200x
Simple question really, Is it easy to wire in a headphone socket into the epi valve junior version3? so you can play cranked at a nice ear non-splitting volume Have tried my headphones in the three jacks in the back but its so loud and only comes out of one side of head set. TWANG
you have to have the correct ohms to run headphones, just like with speakers. It's a mono output, so you have to have mono headphones, not stereo. You couldn't get the volume down that way, I don't think. It would ruin the phones.. they are made to take lots less power. When you run phones off anything else, stereo, Ipod, Mp3, tuner, you run off a small preamp signal.. not a full power amp signal. I suppose you could use the loop d' jr efx loop.. in mono, of course, but I think even that would be hellacious loud via phones. I don't recall seeing any information on a headphone output that anyone thought was worthwhile.. perhaps I remember incorectly.
