ALIEN8
They had 2 GOTWs in silverburst. 1 LP, 1 SG Actually, they had 4, don't forget the flying V and the RD. I have to say the Robot silverburst looks Chinese. +1, I'll tune the damn thing myself...
rybass
JHC would it really kill them to put some binding on a robot? Bursts just do not look right without binding to me. The red is pretty sweet though. Like HAL's eye. Dave. Dave, my tuning is going. I can feel it.
led floyd9
Custom' date=' BFG, Robot. Am I missing any?[/quote'] Yeah, the SG Standard, LP, V, RD, and the LP GC limited run. I also saw a guy on the SG forum with a silverburst SG Godess, but he said it was a prototype.
Knapp_425
I like the red one. Go figure That should have gold hardware as well...
jkinnison90
I agree with the people that say that the guitar needs binding.
ChanMan
While I agree totally it would look better with a binding... I'm not sure I don't like the Sliverburst Studio look.... if it was offered as a studio (at studio prices) I'd likely pick one up... I think I still like the original Blue/Silver Robot best... and it isn't a question of whether or not I can tune my guitar... it's the novelty of having one tune itself . I'd be the same with self-tying shoes, I guess... OH... and if Gibson DOES read this.... MAKE THE ROBOT 12 STRING. I'll buy one tomorrow!
