pohatu771
I have a Gibson-related surgery this week, also. In fact, there's so much surgery happening it'll look like Beverly Hills. My Gibson LG-0 is finally going to be repaired. In the orthodontics area, it'll be receiving two new braces. A new bridge will be glued to the top. A bridge plate will be replaced. New vintage-style tuners will be added. They're styled after the pre-World War II tuners, but they're nearly identical to mid-60s Gibson tuners. I think that's all that happens... I forget. As soon as the parts arrive, I'm starting.

RotcanX
That should brighten things up while adding a lot of detail to your tone. Good move.
