ragtag
Just picked up the ej200 jumbo acoustic/electric. No manual to explain the pickup (with nanomag and nanoflex, and "blend," etc.) Found the pdf download, but it doesn't explain how to use it. I understand blending two different sources in a pickup (as in the Alvarez pickups with piezo and mics) but I don't understand what comes out of the jack. If I move the blend to nanoflex, I get nothing. Only nanomag works. Sounds ok, but I'm just wondering what I'm missing. Thanks.
ragtag
Boy, do I feel silly. I actually "looked" at the TWO jacks and see they are, in fact, LABELED! Okay, I got it. I understand why you'd want to be able to "mix" the nanoflex and nanomag, but I'm still not sure why you would actually want to output a stereo signal with each of those on it's own channel. L1Picker
I think it would be interesting to play around with...you may find you like it.
jackjack86
you'd most likely want to do this if you were recording, as you would want to eq each pickup seperately from the preamp. with a tone knob you only have so much control over the sound produced by the pickups.
