Stand or sit......

stan 58

Recommended Posts

A little over two years ago' date=' I began sitting in rehearsals due to problems with my knees. I used a band member's barstool and it worked just fine. I have since had one of my knees surgically replaced but have continued sitting for practice, rehearsal and most performances. Even got a really nice chair to use:

They are custom made by a company called soundseat and they are fantastic!

This chair is used by some people on another board I frequent and it's is highly recommended by them. They've also mentioned the friendly and very service oriented attitude of the company. I have no interest in the company, don't work for them, etc. (usual disclaimer), and in fact I use a roc n soc drum seat when I sit. If I hadn't bought that before learning about Soundseat, I'd probably have bought one. The guys with back problems love the thing. Your mileage may vary.

no one said it so... i do both but not at the same time!

heavy guitar= stand for 30 min then sit. then stand then "now i know why i was sitting." then whoops should have looked before sitting. thats no place to leave the knitting. then swap guitar for g400. stand. worn out. lie down. watch some telly.
