jchevalier
I just purchased a used Rivoli II bass and put a set of Fender 5250s on it. I was wondering what strings others were using on their short scale basses. It has the same type of pickup as the EB-0.

davecanady
I've just spent half the day looking for flatwounds for my viola. The Epiphone comes stock with 45-105's so I wanted to stay with that size. You can get round, red, blue, or green coated in short scale but good luck finding flats. I tried two local music shops in addition to the local Guitar Center. Finding short scale, flatwound, 45-105's is damn near impossible. I'll be ordering some off the internet. Any idea if 50-105's or 44-106's will mess up my set up? I found some flatwounds in those sizes.
