RotcanX Posted August 28, 2008 Share Posted August 28, 2008 In any case you're probably better off from a tone standpoint with the stop tailpiece. I doubt you'd get the same sustain with any sort of trapeze set up, frequensator or no. Plus the frequensator can have a limiting effect on which strings you can use on your guitar, as some brands will 'come up short' on the D string. Lots of people really seem to think they are butt-ugly. I don't mind them, but do prefer the Casino trapeze as we see on the Casino (and on my old 335).
