Slash Les Paul Goldtop

I went over to Epiphone.com today to see if their were any more updates on the Slash series. and boy was I suprised to find a Slash Goldtop. I dont know if this is true but it looks kinda sparkily if thats a word.

Yeah i seen it i dont like it that much i prefer the 69 goldtop

and tbh i dont think the slash line will do that good

I beleive it's pretty much the same as the previous slash epi. except the paint. I don't care for it, but that's just me. I'm happy with the one i have.

Would be nice with p90's. Then i suppose it would just be a LP 57 goldtop (Think thats right.) To many numbers and names lol

That Goldtop will not sell. Typically guys like me and older buys Goldtops, and we will much rather buy a '56 or a '57; used Epi, Elitist or whatever. There are so many cheap great used Epi Goldtops.

56 GT has the P-90's, 57 Elitist has the humbuckers.

That's like someone getting a tattoo just to cover it up. If someone like's Slash or the guitar, but it, if not don't.

for approximately $6, you can buy a replacement piece of plastic...not really a deal breaker in my book

My friend who's crazy about Slash and always wanted a goldtop with humbuckers. I do agree that they shouldn't be making another Slash model, Epiphone should be getting rid of the Slash goldtop and some of the Zakk Wylde's and the LP-100 so that they can bring the elitists back. I dunno if that would help them bring the elitists back but I would think that it would cut production costs so that the elitists could be manufactured again. Just my personal opinion.

Of course they can, but they also need a return. My guess is the Elitist were not providing the targeted return.

 

However, this is about Slash and my comment there is - I don't like sparkles, but I'll take it if I win it.
