BlueLesPaul2006 Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Has anyone used Carvin's pickups? I'm thinking about putting a C22T in the neck and a C22B in the bridge both metal covered in my Les Paul Standard. Please only respond if you have used Carvin pickups or heard them in person. I am not looking for anyone to bad mouth a product with out ever having used it or heard it in person just because it is not made by Gibson, Dimarzio, SD..... I'm looking for real honest feedback. Thanks! http://www.carvinguitars.com/products/group.php?cid=83
BlueLesPaul2006 Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 So 20 views so far and no feedback I guess no one has used Carvin guitars pickups
TWANG Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 the only ones I've heard were played through a digitech processor into a solid state amp. those and joe walshs, on his australian tour with his new carvin guitar.. which I thought sucked majorly. I'd heard several carvins, but it was 20 years ago.. so I don't even have an impression anymore. TWANG
djroge1 Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 It's been years since I've played a carvin. I know I really like the dragon burst finish they've come out with.
lostindesert Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 Never heard or seen a Carvin guitar over here in my Country. Only on ads in mags. I would go with SD, DiMarzio, Gibson, GFS, Lindy Fralin etc. Peter
