blindjimmy Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 hello. would anyone be interested in posting the bitmo mods here on the forum, so many people seem to rave about them, but why pay for those kits when the parts are so inexpensive. thanks
TWANG Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 check the faq.. learn how the bitmos differ.. talk to people about what they've done.. decide if you really want the bitmos and which ones.. people pay for the parts because assembling them from certain sites is new to them.. because modding an amp is beyond what they think they can accomplish on thier own first time out.. it's part kit, and part service. Eracer_Team Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 There has been a bit of graciousness with Bruce and his Bitmo mod’s for the VJ (and the Black Heart); meaning the guys that know accept his contribution and haven’t posted exact copies of his controls. He was one of the long standing players in the early days of the VJ mod craze (just wish Gibson/Epip would have brought over that database from the old forum), I digress… Bruce released his bitmo tone control to the world, it was posted here on the forum, but if you don’t change your view from ‘last two days’ which is standard to ‘all’ you won’t be able to search the forum well. The best place is to head over to swatt.com it is posted in the faq’s. The rest of the Bitmo controls are not specifically covered at sewatt.com but there is enough information there to build what ever you want.
gecko Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 Eracer is right. I just recently installed the BitMo Trio but sharing the actual details of the parts, and how to connect them would be out of line. Bruce is a really decent guy, and has been doing these kits for a while. I kinda understand what you mean though, but really what you are getting when you buy one of his kits is worth it in the long run. If you really don't feel like shelling out the cash for a kit then head on over to www.sewat.com and read through the mods on the FAQ there. The guys over there are awesome, and always willing to help. Occasionally they even come up with the right answer!!!
Eracer_Team Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 don't let my wife know that i have the occasional right answer
