Replacement pickguard for a 1969 Riviera

Hi everybody, i'm new on this board.

Live in France and i'm a proud owner of a 1969 US made Riviera.

I'd like to have a pickguard installed so i have some questions for Epiphone specialists :

 

1 - the color : does it have to be white to look "original" ?

though it could also look a bit new compared with the binding of the guitar which has become creamy. i was thinking of a black/cream/black.

 

2 - did the original guards come with the E decal or the E black and silver metal part ?

 

3 - how many plys ?

 

4 - What type of bracket ?

 

5 - where to find a good replacement that will really fit with mini humbuckers ?
