Aj 500m question

I just picked up the Epihpne Maerbuilt hardcase for my AJ-500m. It however did not come with an instuction of anything and i am wondering how in the world to set the lock code...or what the code might be. The little red tab is still in there so i know it hasnt been used yet.

If it's any conselation I don't know how either!

But there are some on the forum who do, one of them will be along directly.

would you set the desired combo and then pull the tab?

no it wont let you roll the numbers with the tab still in. i am at a loss here. might just not worry about it leave it were it is, and when i lock it just scramble the numbers around.

My Gibson case says........

1. With the lock open push button (1) in the direction of the arrow & hold down until the second operation has been performed.

2. Set number wheels (2) to the desired combination

3.Now release button. (1) press the button again as a check.

 

Probably have to pull out the red tab before you can do this.
