ef_in_fla
http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/xspngypenquin All the red flags are here. Prices too low. Broken English and weird statements: "Instructors & School Band Approved". On an Epi? Weird Chinese shipping company. But the best part is their feedback. Sure it's 100%, but all from people buying something called Slow Jams for $3.00 and when you look at the buyers feedbacks they look fishy too. Steer clear. Bender 4 Life
On the Blk Bty....notice the rediculuosly tall nut, and the headstock binding that cuts in behind the neck binding? definitely a fake. Buy ONLY from authorized dealers.......and there will be no question as to authenticity.
Whitmore Willy
because we choose the express delivery company --- Chinese EMS, You will receive From Chicago? Maybe UPS and Fedex don't ship out of Chicago anymore. I know ef_in_fla already mentioned it, but it did get me laughing.
leicester35
Oh wow, that's something else. Did you see the "set up and and inspected in the USA" stickers on the back of the headstock? Maybe Epi made these guitars, shipped them to the US, and then shipped them back to China so this guy could sell them?! Oh, or maybe there's an easier explanation. Also these guitars have a white sticker, rather than the usual silver one. Maybe they're limited editions(!) It's unusual to see a faker using his actual fakes to advertise his guitars. Normally they pinch a picture of the real deal from somewhere on-line. I guess if somebody draws e-bay's attention to this guy, they'll jump on it right away, yeah? Ricochet
And they come in a genuine Gibson hard shell case. Doesn't get better than that. I kind of like the cream look of the case, but why does it say 'Gibsun'?

Nic
Your first hint that they are fakes is when he states they are not fakes. I've been getting a lot of the broken English scam artist crap with vendors on Craig's List. They never seem to have time to meet in person, but they'll ship the guitar out of their warehouse as soon as they get your check.
Guitar Chico
They had a Elitist silverburst les paul custom. Is there even such thing as an elitist custom? I can totally tell that this dude is a fake. GC
