bgeek Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Hi all, Are the Slash LP Goldtops sold out worldwide? I'm trying to get hold of one in the UK, but they all appear to be sold out in the 4 registered dealers. If not, is there anywhere else stocking them that I can get one from for a reasonable price delivered to the UK. It was supposed to be a birthday gift. My mistake! Doh. I'm not building up my hopes as I realise for now they're limited edition Cheers all, g
L1Picker Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 I saw 2 of them at the Guitar Center in Lakeland, FL today.
bgeek Posted October 16, 2008 Author Posted October 16, 2008 I saw 2 of them at the Guitar Center in Lakeland' date=' FL today. [/quote'] Hi, Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, I saw the Guitar Center stores as listed as stocking them, however, their website indicates that you can only buy them "in-store" and since I am in the UK this therefore rules me out of buying one. There are only 4 registered/authorized dealers in the UK on the Gibson website and each had sold out of their quota. One in particular said they only had 6 to begin with. I emailed Epiphone about this and they said they were "limited edition", which is somewhat unfortunate and as you point out, they are still available in the US, but not in the UK.
Guitar Chico Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 I think I've seen them on Musician's Friend. GC Edit: Nope no I didn't... sorry
