String cleaning product

I never use string cleaners. I wipe them down with a soft clean cloth everytime after playing. When they start to tarnish I change them.

I don't think that the string cleaner is going to extend the frequency of changing strings. A good wipe down with a free cotton rag is all that's needed. I also use this

I just thought it seemed like a clever way to get it done real fast like. I would mod it so the bottom cleans your fretboard at the same time. I use Fingerease spray and it leaves a residue that I usually try to keep cleaned off.

I have a bottle of those Dunlop string cleaners. The only time I find myself using that stuff is if I haven't picked up the guitar in a while. (That, and that finger ease stuff...)
