JohnH
Have a Valve Jr. Combo, Ver. 2, rated at 4 Ohms. Can I plug into the Vavle Jr. Extension Cab? Are the impedance values the same? Can the amp have a lower value than the cab?
TWANG
the cabinet with the lady luck speaker is 16 ohms.. so DON'T use the 4ohm output jack on the combo for that. I believe the combo has the same wiring for outuput as the head. but the wires are not connected. So you should be able to rewire it so the combo has a 16 ohm output jack instead of a 4 ohm output jack. Then you could run the combo into the cab.. but not with the combo speaker plugged in. TWANG It depends on the version Twang.......versions 1 and 2 had an unused 8ohm tap inside the chassis capped off(red wire) but no 16ohm tap.
