Ten reasons why The Beatles are over-rated

check out "answers in genesis." there has never been a proven transitional being or fossil ever recorded. it was put to richard dorkins for him to answer where it has ever been observed. he could not and did not. there are famous videos of this. it does not exist. change within a species is not evolution. dogs stay dogs no matter what type of dog they are. there is no proof that one creature has turned into another. there is no observed link...

"there are no unquestionable fossils that show a transition between any of the major life-forms."

the vidoes on revelation tv illustrate this better but i don't know whereto find them.

Only in Jest' date=' Layboomo, only in jest! I'm afraid I can't get tooooo serious, about any of this,

because, as Nelson loves to point out, all this stuff has been hashed over, ad nauseam, and

will continue to be, no doubt. So...no offense, inteneded. ;>)

And now, it's 15 meaningless posts, Nelson...

there is no proof that one creature has turned into another.

The only way to have "proof" is to have somebody live for hundreds or thousands of years and constantly observe a species. Fossils alone can not, and will never "prove" anything because it can always be open to interpretation.

So the proof you obviously need, will never be found.

I am a Christian. But I believe in evolution. Why? Because I am inteligent. And in the same way that I don't need "proof" to prove there is a God, I don't need it to prove evolution exists. It's called faith. Faith in my beliefs, and faith in my intelligence.

I have always found it quite amusing that so many people think that evolution and the bible can not both be correct.

I think they both ARE. The bible does not make evolution impossible, nor does the theory of evolution make God's word impossible.

Alas, we've never dug up a 'Dinosaur Saddle' yet, either. Yet, if in fact man existed simultaneously with dinosaurs I'm sure we would've figured out a way to ride them.....=D>

i'm affraid it does. if you ever get to see answers in genesis... if i locate a video you will see it. god says in the bible "So God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind."

a kind is a kind they stay to their kind this has not been disproven. evolution tries to but their is no proof. answers in genesis makes it clear. many times evolution is seen to be in complete opposition to belief in god. this is way ot except someone did say that. if i find a 1 hour video like i've seen you will change your mind. but i've just looked and youtube and ken ham the leader of aig has been demonised like i cannot beleive. it doesn't matter except to say what i've seen him say i can not and do not have a shaky feeling inside when opposing evolution. where is the proof... i will have a search i was pretty shocked at the "trust me i'm a scientist mentaliity" when there is nothing to back it up.

No' date=' no, no. He was merely in Purgatory.[/quote']

I thought it was Parguay....=D>

Now that he has received absolution by the Holy See.. what's next?....

beautification towards sainthood?...why not?

We have St. Jude....."hey Jude"..."Lady Madonna"...Eleanor Rigby...Father Mackenzie,

but what's the deal with "Maxwell's silver hammer coming down on some poor

blokes head....making sure he was dead" etc...I could never figure out the meaning

of those lyrics.

Without Ringo' date=' they wouldn't have had some of those bizarre song names like "Tomorrow never knows". There are Yogi-isms and Ringo-isms. Ringo's make more sense, but not much more.[/quote']

Don't forget that Ringo mostly wrote the lyrics to "Yellow Submarine" and starred in the "Caveman" movie with

umm..forgettable name..oh yes Barbara Bach..I think he married her because of her songwriting or acting talents

or somesuch .

That's not true at all. There was a very, very short spoken intro for the song that was never used (maybe Ringo wrote that); but Paul wrote that entire song with a few lines (and all that ad-lib "Full speed ahead" stuff) from John and actually Donovan.

I don't know how to break this to you, but the dinosaurs died out millions of years before humans arrived on the scene.

do you have any proof?

"We can't date fossils, for three reasons. First, they are almost always too old. Second, they rarely contain any of the original carbon. And third, it is common to soak new-found fossils in a preservative, such as shellac. It is also standard to coat fossils during their extraction and transport. Acetone is sometimes used while extracting fossils, because it dissolves dirt. In short, unless you have evidence to the contrary, you should assume that most of the carbon in a fossil is from contamination, and is not originally part of the fossil."

hell and heaven are empty. the day of judgement happens before it's decided where people go. and that happens after the end of the world. which although it feels like it has not happened. but john may indeed go to hell anyway...

....But Ringo was an extremely mediocre drummer and that's just a fact as far as I'm concerned. To imply that he showed a great deal of reserve is pure bullsh#t...he had no chops to begin with.

Ringo's style fit their music, but he was an important part of the Beatles and I believe he went on to release more solo work than the others (I could be wrong).

His drumming isn't one to sit there and watch in amazement and because of that it's good that Zak chose to emulate Keith Moon.

Did Epiphone ever use the Beatles in advertisements? It probably would have helped them sell a few guitars.

I'm beginning to miss the moderators.

Censorship -- favored tool of all those who wish to shut off debate.

Many feel that a mere 10 reasons stops a bit shy of the mark.

But' date=' acknowledging reasons of The Beatles over-ratedness doesn't equal "Beatle haters"

...and someone doesn't need to have "done anything better" to hold an equally valid opinion as your own (pro or con) about anything.
