V-Type Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Here's mine: 2003 Epi LP Custom with Duncans and a Flextone II 1x12 with the closed back mod and a 2x12 EV loaded home made cab (the screen over the speakers is torn not the speakers lol). Small gig Loud and a Great array of convincing tones IMO. Lets see your rig. All welcomed Stage or Dorm sized. [-o</ ](*,)/ O:)/
generation zero Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Mesa dual rectifier Roadster, pushing a pair of 4x12 rectifier straight-housing slant-baffle cabs. Furman pedalboard with a BBE Sonic Stomp, Ernie Ball Volume Jr., Morley Bad Horsie 2 wah, Boss tu-2 tuner, and the receiver for my Shure wireless on it. For guitars - Chinese Gibson LP Custom copy with dragon inlay, Epi LP Standard plain top in honeyburst, Samick Greg Bennett Avion (almost LP copy, twitchy lawyers made them change the body shape to avoid lawsuits) soon to have a Bigsby. Also have a few beater project squire strats that see the stage every so often. I'll post pics later tonight when I get home.
The Howlin Thurston Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Current gig setup ? Usually Tele/ Fender amp or vintage Gibson ES-5. Just got a casino, so that is looking to get rotated into the mix... But with a fair number of guitar/amp choices It kinda depends, know what I mean ?

Svet Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 This is what I'm playing today; My Gibson R6 straight into my Carr Mercury. I may bust out my Epiphone Elitist LP Standard Plus in a little bit too.
pohatu771 Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 See how the Fender is plugged in? Swap that with the other Strat, or the Casino, and there you have it. My other setup is more complicated: Swap that with the Gibson acoustic or Fullerton.
layboomo Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Here's a combo I like a lot lately my hot rodded Gretsch 3161's and my Peavey classic 50/410s I come out of my pedal board wet/dry and it sounds HUGE! and the pedals
jcwillow777 Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 This is a rig that I like a lot, but the guitars do change. My pedalboard, a Tonebone Boneyard: Pedalboard and amp (Weber 6M18TMB into cab loaded with 2 Vintage 30s) '56 Gold Top with Gibson Deluxe Mini-humbuckers. My GT has been getting a lot of play time since putting the minis in it.
layboomo Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Man I like that goldtop!!! That's the guitar Epiphone should make....I'd buy one!
jcwillow777 Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Man I like that goldtop!!! That's the guitar Epiphone should make....I'd buy one! Thanks Lay. I had a lot of back and forth email with Gibson in the process of getting the minis mounted. I mentioned that I thought these would go over pretty big. Who knows, maybe that's what Epiphone had it mind when they discontinued the GT P-90 version. All I know is that I really like the change.

Guest alanhindle Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 My 2 casinos and vox ad50vt Do you jam with your Leprechauns Cookieman or do they only come out and play when you're tucked up in bed, fast asleep?
stan 58 Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Heres my rig, Line 6 Flextone 1 with floor board.

Epiphone Player Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Ok here's my: I will change the speakers, and then it will be ok... So there is a Epi SG,Radiotehnika U-7111 Amp,and soviet time speaker...I think it all sound not bad, really, the old soviet speakers can be chrashed, they can be Thrown out on a window, but they will sound :D (just want to say,the speaker sounds better, than it looks :D ) I connect the guitar to PC,then the pc output to the amp
generation zero Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Here's the "family" shot... Amp is a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Roadster, with a pair of "straight slant" Retifier 4x12 cabinets. Guitars, from left to right - fake Gibson Custom (Burstbucker 1 neck, 498T bridge), Samick Greg Bennet series Avion (SD '59 neck, GFS Mean 90 bridge), Epi LP Standard plain top honeyburst (SD '59 neck and bridge), Fender Mexican Standard Tele (stock pup neck, SD little '59 bridge), Squier Bullet series "beater" hardtail strat (Epi stock LP standard neck, Epi stock LP Baritone bridge), Squier Bullet series tremolo bridge strat (stock pups neck and mid, SD little '59 bridge). Here's the amp by itself: And my pedalboard: Furman SPB-8C, pedals left to right - Ernie Ball Volume Pedal Jr., Morley Bad Horsie 2 wah, Boss tuner, BBE Sonic Stomp sonic maximizer, Shure PGX wireless reciever. Unplugged for practice, I use a regular cable at practice to save batteries. I have a Boss noise suppressor, but I took it off the board because (ironically) it was causing noise issues. I eliminated a slew of various Boss effect pedals, including a Chorus Ensemble, Digital Delay, and Acoustic Simulator, because I never really used them in my current band. I do plan to add a Boss Super Octave in the near future, but that will probably be it for a while. I also used to have the big 8 button Mesa footswitch on here, but it took up too much space, and again, I rarely switched chanels anymore. Now I just leave the amp on channel 4, and if I need clean tones, I roll back the volume pedal. Works great, without the noise gate, LOL!
Dave Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Here's the Family shot, minus the Vox AD50VT which is at the gig. The Tele is too new for this picture...I guess I need to take some more family shots. The Flametop gets the most action, followed by the Goldtop, then the Strat. The '79 Strat (I bought it new) will be 30 next year! I guess it's time to plan a birthday celebration...
Gordy01 Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 OK. Here's my modest line up. Doesn't really compare to some of the posts here. 85 Fender Strat 62 reissue. Really nice guitar, best neck I've ever played. Seagull S6 + Cedar Acoustic with pickup. Had this guitar compared to much higher priced guitars. Epi LP Ultra 2. Brand new, and the reason I'm on this forum. Here's just the amp. And my pedalboard. The AB switch on the bottom left is Bank Up / Bank Down. The other is for 2 guitars.

I love the finish on that Paul, reminds me of my old Standard. One day I'll have to post the list of guitars I USED to own... There were some cool ones on the list. Wish I had pictures of more of them...
