eor Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 rare, as in long since discontinued: vintage sunburst byrdland vintage sunburst les paul standard vintage sunburst sheraton vintage sunburst broadway cherry 61 sg personally, i would have killed for an burst lp but none came up during my search. i did kill for the sheraton, and i might still hurt someone for the byrd for no good reason- just curious about the short scale. never played an sg but would try to seek one of these out if i ever had the need, as they tend to go in the $500 range, which isn't much more than the regular ones go for.
Chefman Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 I got my Faded Cherryburst Elite Les Paul Standard off of the bay last month. I really would like to splurge for that Riviera, or the Sherry. My wife would go bat***t. So I guess I'll pass for now.
eor Posted December 15, 2008 Author Posted December 15, 2008 live.com is only at 8%- not worth getting killed for. but if it goes back up to 25-30%...
sexygibson Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 I don't think you could go wrong with any Elitist. I believe the craftmanship and playability exceeds that of the Gibson Studio models that I own. I have owned a earlier model Elitist Les Paul in honeyburst and 2 Elitist SGs. They were all fine guitars that I never should have sold.
