How do you determine year & model of guitar?

Is there a way to determine the year and model of an epiphone guitar? Anywhere you can look online to see different models by year?

 

I have an SG Custom that has the vibrolo and looks like the Angus Young SG. When I look at all the customs, they are mostly white. Trying to determine year of this guitar.

The guitar's model is not incorporated into the serial number.

You already specified the model of your guitar (SG Custom that has the vibrolo and looks like the Angus Young SG)...

So just use the vehicle Jefferey Smith gave you to find out the manufacture date, that's depending on whether you have the serial number available.

Of course it's not bad, Stan. Since model # isn't specified, pics are the only way.
