Hello, I want to buy an Epiphone Casino Elitist, and the lowest price I saw was on Musicstore.de .

Does anyone have any experiences with this site? Do you think I'm about to buy a fake?

Dude, I have no idea. I can only make out a few words here and there. Now I've heard of the site. But, as to whether they are legit or not. You got me. Have you tried to contact them? Call or email with questions. Some of their answers may give you clues as to whether you should deal with them or not. Just my 2 cents....

If you are able to get to the store, then by all means Go!!!!! Touch it, feel it, see how it fits. Is it comfortable. Now for the hard part. Are you far along enough to tell the different aspects of a guitar. Can you distinguish from cheap elements, and more expensive elements. The Elitist is top of the line. But can you tell the difference? If you are not sure, take a more knowledgeable friend with you...

I went to the english version and what I saw was that the Elitist is out of stock.

 

From discussions here and other sites, it looks as though the elitist line has gone bye bye, so it might be difficult to order your Casino from them.

 

It looks like a nice site though, and I've bookmarked it to peruse the lefty section at a later time.

I called them, and they said they are going to get a new charge of Epiphones..And I thought the Casino is the only Elitist model that is continued.

If you are ever in doubt as to whether a place like this is going to be selling fakes, just email Epiphone and ask them whether or not they are a registered dealership. Nice choice of guitar, by the way!

I just saw this link, given by someone from Gibson Europe about Authorized dealers..Musicstore Koln is in the list, so that's good, but is this list about authorized Gibson dealers, or also Epiphone dealers?
