classicxman Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 I just got my GFS Classic II pups and need some help. The pup on the bottom came in a box that said "Bridge Position", but it is labeled "Neck". The one on the top is also labeled "Neck" and it came in the box indicating "Neck Position". Is there any difference in Neck vs Bridge pups other than the screw position? I have a message into GFS on this but I don't know how long it will take to get a response. Thanks.
Ricochet Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 IF you have the wiring code and access to a multimeter you could check DC-resistance values...Bridge pickup is 8.2K, Neck 7.8K

Ron G Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 There was a similar mixup when I got my Mean 90s. I sent Jay an email and he immediately shipped the correct pickup via Priority Mail, including a pre-paid return label.
