Other than the fact that there all old Epiphone names, are they all semi-hollow body guitars with sustain blocks?

Is the difference all in the pickups and trim level?

The Sheraton is the only one of those 3 with a solid centre. The casino and riviera are both fully hollow.

I'm not well up on the differences between the casino and riviera, but the Sheraton is like an uprated dot... bound F holes, bound body, bound fretboard, pearl and abalone inlays and gold hardware.

i ain't best source, as I don't own any of those, but general knowledge:

Casino: hollow body with two P90s

Sheraton: semihollow body with two humbuckers and extremely nice bindings on headstock

Riviera: semihollow body with 1) two mini humbuckers

2) Limited editions one comes with 3 P90s, bigsby and gorgeous wine red finish

Uhhh, not entirely accurate, Mugatu...the Riviera is "Semi-hollow" like the Sheraton. Just less "bling!"

The Casino is a full "hollow body," however. In the American (Kalamazoo) and Japanese Elitist spec's,

the Sheraton and Riviera both had mini-humbuckers, while the Casino has always had (1 at first...

early US models, 2 more commonly) P-90 pickups. Also, American and Elitist Casino's have the neck joint

at the 16th fret. Most Korean versions, were at the 17th fret.

The sheris have thinner necks than the dots.. I don't know the riv's neck that well.

the casino, I beleive, also has a slightly fatter neck.

you'll notice the sheri and riv let you get up the neck higher before the body gets in the way..

the argument is one has easier access. the sheri, riv.

while the casino has more neck 'in the pocket' so should produce different effect on tone and sustain.. toward the positive.

the casino should feedback a bit sooner, due to the lack of a center block, but I still think they are controllable and besides.. that's not all bad!

Also, very early Sheraton's had single coil pickups, and a more "Gibson" like headstock shape. Those

particular models are quite "collectable!" Some models of the Asian Riviera's had the full size humbuckers

and either frequensator, Bigsby vibrato , or "stop bar" tailpieces. Sheraton's went through similar configurations,

as well....different headstock shapes (from that of the originals), and pickup and tailpiece configuations, too.

The Casino, has been (mostly) unchanged (except the "Gibson like headstock in the very early 60's models,

like McCartney's, and Keith Richards have/had)...save the real early Japanese Aria/Matsumoku "bolt on neck," models, which were "Casino" in name only! No real physical resemblence to the "Gibson" produced Epiphones, whatsoever! Matsumoku did (eventually) get back to more traditional Epiphone set-neck specs, and the guitars produced then, were quite decent.

Hmmm... Necks are always of interest to me as I sell more guitars cause the neck is too small. 4 very similar yet different guitars and the pickups have varied over the years in all but the Casino. It hdad and still has the P-90's. CB - your description on the pups and the other hardware is right on, but back to the necks...I will start with trim level from lowest to highest.

Dot - They vary but overall come closer to the fatter 50's style Gibby neck. Semi-Hollow 335 style Body with Generic Humbies.

Casino - Fast, slim neck 60's style. P-90 pups. Full Hollow-Body 335 style.

Riviera - Fast, slim neck 60's style. Full size and Mini Humbies. Semi-Hollow 335 style Body.

Sheraton - Fast, slim neck 60's style. Full size and Mini Humbies. Semi-Hollow 335 style Body.

Something for everyone. %3A)

That is not correct, the only fully hollow is the casino, Rivieras have the solid center just like the Sheratons.
