Guitar Chico Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Do G400's generally come with Grover tuners? I just noticed the other day that mine had them but I never thought that they were stock. GC
charlie brown Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Seems like they're pretty standard on the G-400 (Chrome) and G-400 Custom (Gold). There have been some, that have had the "Tulip" (greenish) type Kluson clone tuners, as well. Someone else here, may know more about just which models, or "when" that happened? CB
jcwillow777 Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 I've got an '05 and '06 G-400, I bought both new and both came stock with Grovers.
AyushPresley Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Yup they are the stock on the G400's like Charlie said before.. before they used that green knobs but now they have changed that to Grovers both on sg custom and G400..as far as i know it has been fairly long since they have started Putting Grovers, can't give you the exact date though..
Bender 4 Life Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 My '05 Custom Flametop has chrome Grovers, and the '61 two piece pickguard. It also has blk "tophat" knobs w/chrome inserts. (all factory). edit- I finally put a better pic of it in "photobucket"
