I love how my VJ sounds with the Marshall mod but also want to get the crunch and lead tones that come out of one of these preamps too, a more modern rock/metal tone. Thought it would be neat to plug mt LP Standard into an AB switch then have it "Y" out into the input of my VJ from one side of the switch so I could get the classic Marshall sound I enjoy now; and then into the T3 from the other side of the switch and into the FX return on my VJ for a good "almost chimey" clean and then some balls out distortion with channels 2 & 3 of the T3. I could switch back and forth between the VJ preamp and the T3 depending on the tone I want. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
