jasrub Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Picked up a new Dot Deluxe today at Guitar Center (at a very nice price I might add). My question is: where was it made? I assume in China but there is no Made in China sticker on it. It says it was set up in the US and it says "Limited Edition Custom Shop". The serial number is not etched onto the headstock but is on a sticker in the f-hole. It doesn't begin with EE as I understand the China made Epis do. It is ten numbers beginning with 0809. I see no info about this guitar on the Epiphone website. Anyone?
zerostreet Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Welcome and HNGD! The sticker you mention that is in the fhole should state "made in..." This site may also give you info on your guitar: http://www.guitardaterproject.org/
sledge57 Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I can't help you but I saw one, at my local GC today. $349 plus the 10% off, I was tempted.....................
jasrub Posted January 18, 2009 Author Posted January 18, 2009 Strangely, the f-hole sticker doesn't say where it was made. It was on sale for $329 and I had a 10% off coupon so it was about $320 out the door with tax. Couldn't resist. Great guitar especially for the $
