Sinb Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 I have an Epiphone SG Ltd '66 Reissue, and it's a great guitar, but im a little more into les Pauls. I can trade in my SG for $430 and maybe sell my LP 100 for like $60 or something (it has alot of things wrong with it so i figured i could sell it to a biginner for cheap). SOO here is my question, how much does a standard Epiphone Les Paul run including tax? And would it be worth it? You know trading one guitar, selling the other, and selling one of my amps. :D
Emetry Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Anywhere from $400-$700 from most pawn shops-Guitar Center. Keep an eye on Craigslist and EBay. I got my LP for $330 from a pawnshop, but I'd done a LOT of business with them previously to get that deal.

TWANG Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 get the goth lp or g400. you get carved top, set neck, full controls, grover tuners and a low price. Here's my lp studio .. in my avatar...which is the same as a goth only sunburst, and a few cosmetic differences. and here's MF's price and url. http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epiphone-Goth-Les-Paul-Studio-Electric-Guitar?sku=517233 I've been playing a long time.. and I like my lp studio just fine! three hundred bucks.. sheesh. that's a lot of guitar for so little. tulsaslim Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 +1 on the Epi LP Studio. I've got a couple of them & they're great. And unlike their Gibson counterparts, they don't have the big, fat, baseball bat neck.
L1Picker Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 maybe sell my LP 100 for like $60 or something (it has alot of things wrong with it so i figured i could sell it to a biginner for cheap). Why would you want to pawn it off on someone that's just starting? That could cause much frustration for a beginner. :-
TWANG Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 pm me the things wrong with it.. I build guitars so I may be able to fix it up and make it right a lot cheaper than you, so selling it to me wouldn't hurt anyone. If ya wanna! TWANG
