Lord Summerisle Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I'm very happy with my plain old common or garden G-400. The only SG I'd really consider instead would be the 'real deal' - A Gibson SG Standard in ebony. Now where did I leave that $1500?
lostindesert Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Only one vote for the Elitist? NO brains around here lol.
brad1 Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Your topic asks, "Which Epi G400 is the best?" So why in the hell do you have a G310 on there?
lostindesert Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Only two votes for the Elitist? Which is the best? NO brains around here lol.
Guitar Chico Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I'd say the normal g400 but I'm biased. GC
Big Norm Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I voted Elitist, because it have to be the best SG...but it's only to participate...I hate SG...lolll But I respect those who love them. It's only a matter of taste.
thunderstruck507 Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 well the elitist isn't a g400 at all, its an actual sg and is well above the g400 series (even modded ones) in sound and playability not sure why it says 66 either cause it's supposed to be 61
midiman56 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Well. you all know by now that I'm pretty partial to the SG Prophecy GX. The Dirty Fingers pup's are amazing and I just love the thin neck ... always my major disconnect with SG's. That having been said, however, if Epiphone ever decides to start making the Les Paul Custom again with the Vibrola ... I'M THERE! MIDI
AyushPresley Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Only two votes for the Elitist? Which is the best? NO brains around here lol. I guess it's because of the headstock ??!!!...IMO the headstock on the Elitist doesn't look very good ... The normal Epi headstock is way better..IMHO better than the Gibsons...it's suits the body much more...It's cause of the headstock why I don't like the Elitist that much...or else it's a great guitar
