Crossed out trash can sticker

I got an epi wilshire from mf and it was a mess right out of the box. On the back of the headstock, right next to the inspection tag there is another sticker with a picture of a trash can that is crossed out. Any ideas what this means?

[/quote'] I believe it means "do not throw out in regular trash ...... " ... in other words, find out how to recycle, properly dispose of the stuff that might not be "green" for landfills, such as electronics, etc .... pretty standard for electronic products, it seems, these days.

Although, if you put it out NEXT to your trash, someone will come along and take it, so that'd work too, if ya wanted to scrap it for whatever reason

RSDx, you are correct. I see that label on computer parts all the time. Usually stuff that contains heavy metals and such. I guess they dont want people throwing guitars in the landfills...not that they would ever make it that far...
